A new poll out from Gallup says that 19% of Americans say they would NOT vote for a well-qualified presidential candidate who is also a mormon.
That’s the same percentage of people who answered the question the exact same way back in 1967.
(Mitt Romney’s father, George Romney, ran for President in 1968.)
But it’s not just the Christian voter that says they won’t vote for a Mormon. According to Gallup: ”There is virtually no difference in resistance to a Mormon presidential candidate among Protestants, Catholics, and those with no religious identity; each group gives responses close to the national average.”
So… let me ask you…
Would you vote for a Mormon to be President? Why or why not? Does a candidate for President’s faith have any role in your vote for that candidate?

I cannot vote for a cult leader (Mr. Romney says he was a pastor for more than 10 yrs) to be my leader. It would be like running back to Pharoah to escape the direction that Moses is taking you.
