What the church could learn from Apple…

Whether you love Apple or despise them… you have to admit… they have a good thing going.

What if the church could re-invent themselves every year, and have everyone totally buy-in to it?

Something like this:

QUESTION:  What does Apple do that mesmerizes people so much?

Is there any of that magic that the church could adopt?

I am not sure that Apple will be able to mesmerize people forever. The reaction to the latest iPhones in many quarters is very “meh”, and a lot of their innovation was driven by a man that was seen by many around him as a genius… but also a people-user and people-tormenter.

The church has NOTHING to learn from that man, as much as I love, adore, and use the products his company produced.

The church proclaims Jesus. That is what we have to offer and by God’s grace people have been mesmerized for thousands of years and will be forever.

Revive and return to who and what does not need to be reinvented- Jesus and the church of ACTS.
