What part of the country is the rudest

An interesting project is tracking where the location of the f-bombs on twitter.  As you can see, the Eastern United States is becoming notorious for their use of the f-word in their tweets.

I’ve mentioned it here before.  The f-word is becoming more and more acceptable.  It’s in song titles.  It’s commonly bleeped (for now) even on primetime shows.

It’s just a matter of time before it’s use is not much of an issue at all in most of our society.

    I have spent a significant part of my life int he rudest parts of the country.

    Not sure how I feel about that.

    I remember Mike Slaughter (Ginghamsburg Church) saying in a sermon of that word … “it’s the language of rage.” I think he’s on to something. Where it goes from here is anyone’s guess, but it’s doubtful it will be upward.
