What are you willing to admit that YOU don’t understand?
Todd

You had me until #9.
i think church leaders fall into sin for the same reasons that anyone else falls into sin.
no one falls into sin. thats like saying you fell into a swimming pool. the fact is we dig the hole, fill it up with water, built the diving board and jump in. just saying
“Falling into sin”… just an expression. Didn’t mean for anyone to take it literally.
And I understand your point, Michael. But using the pool analogy that Steve brought up… when a pastor falls into major moral failure, it’s a bit like Michael Phelps drowning… at least that how most people on the streets (and in the pews) see it.
When anyone else fails morally, it doesn’t make the news. And they don’t lose their job as a result.
That said, I agree… the reasons are still the same… just more pronounced because they are so public.
That’s actually one of the topics for the NINES this year. I hope you’d consider sharing some of your thoughts and experience.

Why people think the directional arrows in parking lots are for everyone else but themselves. That goes for a lot of other traffic rules too. And, well, just about any rule in general.
