Teen Mania and Acquire the Fire is Closing Up Shop

Here’s a story about Teen Mania and Acquire the Fire from this week’s edition of Ministry Briefing:

When it was created in 1991, their ‘Acquire the Fire’ events were considered “new and edgy” but after 30 years, Teen Mania is closing up. Founder Mike Luce says he feels their work is finished and they should stop before they become dried up. “Scripture talks about old and new wineskins. Sometimes old wineskins don’t need to be used anymore” says Luce.
