Even when Rick Warren says he believes Jesus is the ONLY way to Heaven, I’m sure that there are some that will not believe him.
Rick appeared on ABC This Week yesterday, and gave, what I thought was a great interview. They talked about all kinds of things, from Tim Tebow to mormons, to gay marriage.

But my guess is that this won’t qualm many if any of Rick’s critics.
And that’s where I totally agree with him on how we’ve lost our civility.

The only place Warren broached this was between about 15:00 and 16:30 of the video. Actually, he said, Todd, that we only make it to Heaven through God’s grace. The line of discussion was about Muslims, Jews, etc. He did not say, in the video, that Jesus was the only way to Heaven.

So… yes, I believe he DID actually say that he believes that.
Unless, of course, I take his words to mean something other than what he said. (which is many times what happens with Rick, BTW).

Rick Warren did a great interview… I believe he answered the questions that was posed to him with Biblical sight and clarity… If I have one thing to say about Rick Warren is his views on dogs and cats going to heaven… which is unbiblical…

Way to go Rick! We ought to give positive acknowledgement where it’s due.
We also ought to hold leaders to an accountability when they blatently show disrespect for the Word of God, as RW has done.
Hmmmmm. I wonder WHY it is that some may not believe it when Rick says he agrees with a person who believes Jesus is the only way. Hmmmm. If Charles Stanley had an interview like that, no one would think twice… “that’s just who CS is,” they’d say. If Chuck Swindal said it, no one would question it. Hmmmm I wonder why there’s a question.
A great interview!!!!!!!!!! As always some people will pick apart one thing he should have done better. He did not have time to go over everything a Mormon believes.
