Pastor's Daughters

Someone help me understand this: why does anyone believe that Preacher’s Daughters is something that they want to participate in?

This originally came to our attention by way of a Daily Mail article that discusses how one of the fathers (who happens to be a pastor) demanded that his daughter take a paternity test when he learns that there is uncertainty as to the father of of his unwed daughter’s child. The show, if you haven’t yet heard of it, premiered last night on Lifetime, and follows three young women who are growing up in a ministry home. Following in the footsteps of TLC’s The Sisterhood the show goes after the most sensational stories that they can find within the family.

In this edition of Minsitry Briefing, Todd and Matt talk about the show, and why someone would take part in it… perhaps you can help us understand:

Is there any kind of redemptive potential in this kind of thing?
