Mom on Facebook?

This infographic from Flowtown shows the trends of older Americans on social networking sites.  This number is increasing dramatically.

Take a look at this:

So… just wondering?  Is YOUR mom on Facebook?

No, but my dad is and I refuse to friend him! He would start things with me that I know would be hilarious but all too embarrassing! My daughter liked “my space” because I refused to join. She has grown up and still is aprehensive of me embarrassing her. It’s a generational thing. Haha

My mom and my dad are. My dad is 80. It bugs a bit in some ways. In other ways I really like connecting with my old Sunday School teachers and people who have invested in my life who are getting up there.
I just can’t handle my mom friending people in my church that she “knows”. Uh, no thanks Mom.

Yep, both stepmother (age 70) and MIL (age 75) are on FB. They rock.
