Why this story matters for church leaders:

Giving trends are a concern for many churches, and that means creativity and new tools may be necessary.

  • Not Just Vision: While a clear vision is important for giving, there are other factors that must be considered such as church attendance frequency.
  • New Giving Methods: Since attendance frequency is declining due to work and travel schedules for many, online giving and mobile apps are becoming a necessity.
  • Plan for the Future:Besides shortterm giving plans, estate gifts and wills are also going to be important parts of long term giving plans.
