- Leadership, Leadership, Ministry Briefing, Start Here
Churches tend to resemble their pastors, and that is especially true for new churches. The healthier the pastor, the more spiritually healthy the church will be. Why this story matters for church leaders:
Church leaders may have more control over the spiritual health of their congregations than they think, and that can be good and bad news.
- Influence: While leaders can’t change or influence everything in their churches, they at least have a very good reason to invest time in their own spiritual health and to model healthy practices.
- Biblical Leadership: The Bible shows time and time again that leaders influenced the direction of the people they lead.
- Taking Stock: Leaders need to periodically take stock of themselves and their church in order to determine the impact of their influence, and additional insight from a colleague may help as well.
Can you change one thing about your daily routine that can have an impact on your church?
