Louie Giglio, pastor of Atlanta’s Passion City Church, previously selected to deliver the benediction at President Obama’s inauguration, has withdrawn his name from the services, amid fresh controversy over past comments he made regarding gay marriage.

I am concerned that the Gay community will be further embolden and increase their attacks on evangelical ministers to keep them from participating in events where the minister was invited to pray (or speak). Yes, it did make me wonder if he would back away or water down messages or ministries where, in this case, the Homosexual lifestyle is the focal point. It really was to bad that this ministry opportunity won’t be used. Did President Obama’s team have an issue with this sermon where they asked him not to participate?
