Anne Graham Lotz: Pornography is a sign of the end times

Do you agree with Anne Graham Lotz?  Is pornography a sign of the end times, or is that stretching it a little?

And is her quote at the end of this short video really true?  Does the pornography industry really make more than Microsoft, Google, and Apple combined?

What do you think?

  1. What a bunch of reactionary baloney… But I think you’re linked to the wrong video… nothing about porn in the one I just saw…

  2. Normally, I would say the claim was ridiculous but when you toss in the child porn rings, human trafficking which is often connected to sexual exploitation, the pornography industries worldwide (not just in the good ole USA), then perhaps her claim isn’t so ridiculous. Just a thought.

  3. Terry says:

Pornography today pales in comparison to the sexmosphere of 1st century Rome

  4. Well, considering the fact that the “end times” were the “end of the old covenant age” and all the New Testament authors claimed that THEY (not us) lived in the end times {see every NT verse that contains “last days” or “end of the age” – e.g. “in THESE last days…”} that knocks out one part of the claim. Then considering the fact that the actual figures show that Google et al make far larger sums of money than pornography – I think that effectively destroys the whole argument: http://skeptics.stackexchange.com/questions/5061/does-pornography-bring-in-more-money-than-all-us-sport-franchises-combined
